Bhushan Kumar takes over 'BGMC', 'Fanne Khan' from Prernaa Arora
This year, KriArj Entertainment's Prernaa Arora has hogged the limelight for all the wrong reasons. It all started with her differences with 'Kedarnath' director Abhishek Kapoor, followed by a messy legal tussle with John Abraham over 'Parmanu". And now, both the conflicts have proved costly to Prernaa as she has been ousted from 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' and 'Fanne Khan'.
Bhushan Kumar is now producing both the films
The shootings of both 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' and 'Fanne Khan' were interrupted pertaining to monetary issues. Thus, to save the two big projects from getting delayed, Bhushan Kumar took their reigns in his own hands. He will clear all the unpaid dues and bring both the films back on track.
"I am the sole producer on both the movies"
Confirming the development, Bhushan told a publication, "Yes, I'm the sole producer on 'BGMC', Shree Narayan and his partner Nitin Chandrachud are the stakeholders. Prernaa is also no longer a part of 'Fanne Khan' also because of all the trouble happening around her." "She wants to solve all these problems first before she gets back to making movies," he added.
'Fanne Khan', 'BGMC' will release in July and August respectively
Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead and directed by Atul Manjrekar, 'Fanne Khan' is scheduled to hit the screens on July 13. On the other hand, 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' featuring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, will be out on August 31. The film is being helmed by Shree Narayan Singh.
