Prateik and Sanya tied the knot in Maharashtrian style
Prateik and Sanya tied the knot according to Maharashtrian rituals and were all smiles during the ceremony. Sanya made a stunning bride in her orange color, Maharashtrian-style bridal saree with green-golden border. She completed her bridal look with traditional jewelry and green bangles. On the other hand, Prateik complemented his bride well in his cream-colored sherwani and red safa (turban).
The couple looked regal at their wedding reception
Prateik and Sanya's wedding was followed by a reception party in the evening and the newlyweds looked regal. Sanya looked ravishing in her cream and brown-colored lehenga. The bridal glow on her face was unmissable! Prateik was spotted wearing a mehndi-colored bandhgala suit paired with white churidaar. The couple will, reportedly, host a reception in Mumbai on January 25.
Prateik-Sanya's wedding was a two-day affair. How could we miss?
Notably, their wedding was a two-day affair. The wedding festivities began on January 22, when the couple celebrated their first engagement anniversary. The first ceremony was mehndi followed by haldi later in the day. Sanya wore a mustard-colored gown dress for her mehndi while Prateik chose a cream-colored kurta pyajama.
'Didn't take me long to know she was the one'
It is certainly a happy moment for Prateik who couldn't stop gushing about Sanya. "She's the best partner I could have asked for. It didn't take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds cliched, but I can't stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in life," he added.
