The film's pre-production is currently in progress. KVN Productions recently unveiled the film's poster and announced its details with the tagline, "Torch Bearer of Democracy." The production house expressed their excitement in a caption stating, "We are beyond proud & excited to announce that our first Tamil film is #Thalapathy69."
Vijay's post-acting political career
Upon the completion of this film, Vijay plans to shift his focus entirely to his political career with his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Reports indicate that he has directed his party cadre to adopt a Left-of-Centre stance and respect BR Ambedkar, Periyar, and K Kamaraj. Vijay reportedly intends to present these leaders as the primary sources of ideological inspiration for his party.
