Prakash Raj files defamation case against BJP MP Pratap Simha
Accusing Pratap Simha of making defamatory remarks against him, Prakash Raj has filed a case against the BJP MP. In addition to the case, Raj has also sought a compensation of Rs. 1 crore from the politician. Earlier, in November last year, the actor had sent him a legal notice demanding an unconditional apology.
An infuriated Prakash Raj took the legal route
In the notice that he had sent, Prakash warned Simha of criminal charges if he did not tender an apology. Now, after waiting for almost three months, the 'Singham' actor has filed a defamation and criminal intimidation case against Simha. The court has listed the matter for hearing on March 3.
Simha had launched a personal attack on actor's family
"Being sad due to son's death, having left your wife and run behind a dancer, do you Mr. Raj have any right/legitimacy/worthiness to say anything to Yogi-Modi?" read Simha's tweet.
