Video evidence of Kevin Spacey's alleged sexual assault exists
Kevin Spacey is one of the biggest names to be embroiled in the #MeToo allegations. The actor is currently facing felony sexual assault charges at the Nantucket District Court, as we reported. Now news has surfaced that according to the criminal complaint, the man who is accusing Spacey of assaulting him in Nantucket, Massachusetts, captured part of the assault on video. Read it here.
Complaint states that Spacey unzipped teen's pants and assaulted him
The then 18-year-old busboy of the restaurant accused the now 59-year-old two-time Oscar winner of buying numerous drinks for the survivor, and getting him intoxicated. Spacey then unzipped the boy's pants and assaulted him while also bragging about the size of his penis. Notably, the survivor had then lied to Spacey about his age, telling the actor that he was 23 years old.
Busboy's girlfriend confirms receiving video of Spacey's assault
According to reports, the busboy had sent a Snapchat video to his girlfriend, recording the encounter. Apparently, she didn't believe him when he texted that Spacey was hitting on him, and so he sent the video as proof that the encounter indeed happened. The video allegedly shows Spacey touching the front of the busboy's pants, by the crotch, as the girlfriend told the police.
Police have statements apart from the video
According to the busboy, after several minutes of groping, he ran out when Spacey went to the washroom. However, Spacey, with whom he had exchanged numbers earlier that night, texted him "I think we lost each other". Apart from the video, the busboy and his girlfriend's statements, the police also have statements from workers at the Club Car Restaurant, where the assault took place.
Video inconclusive, said lawyer, Spacey too appeared defiant
Spacey made a bizarre video as his Frank Underwood persona, defiantly claiming he was innocent after his Nantucket case got an arraignment date. His lawyer, Alan Jackson, acted more shrewdly according to Boston Globe's reports. On December 20, during the court hearing, Jackson claimed the video showed someone had his hand on another person's shirt, but no groping could be clearly understood from it.
