Preity had levelled molestation charges against Wadia
It was in June 2014 that Preity went up to the Police and alleged that Wadia had misbehaved with her during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match on 30 May the same year. The actress also presented four photographs to support her charges of molestation and intimidation. The pictures had bruise-like marks on her right arm.
Wadia dismissed the allegations against him
After the matter was taken to the Police, Nadia had to pay a personal bond of Rs. 20,000 to get released. All this while, the business tycoon continued to defend himself. Refuting all the charges, he later handed over a list of nine witnesses to the cops who could vouch for his innocence.
