Relief for Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty in casteist slur case
A Ludhiana court today dismissed a petition filed against Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty for allegedly making casteist remarks. The petition was lodged under the SC/ST Act and sought action against the Bollywood stars. Salman and Shilpa apparently used derogatory words for a particular community on national television last year.

Salman courted controversy when he appeared on a television show to promote 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. He was accused of humiliating the Valmiki community by using an offensive word to describe them. On the other hand, Shilpa found herself in a similar soup after objections were raised on her remarks against the same community.
