Peter Dinklage, 'Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning collaborate for Audible project
Audible has just dropped the news about a star-studded cast for its upcoming adaptation of Agatha Christie's debut novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles. The lineup features Peter Dinklage, Jessica Gunning, and Himesh Patel. Dinklage will lend his voice to Christie's iconic detective Poirot, while Patel will take on the role of his ally, Captain Hastings. Gunning is all set to voice the antagonist Evie Howard, and Harriet Walter will portray Emily Inglethorp—the character at the heart of the mystery.

The cast also includes Rob Delaney as Alfred Inglethorp, Phil Dunster as John Cavendish, Patsy Ferran as Mary Cavendish, John Bradley as Lawrence Cavendish, and Vivian Oparah as Cynthia Murdoch. The Mysterious Affair at Styles follows Captain Hastings (Patel), who heads to a big country estate to recover after World War I. But things take a dark turn when the family matriarch, Emily Inglethorp (Walter), dies unexpectedly one night, and everyone starts to suspect foul play.
Audible's adaptation to feature Dolby Atmos sound
The Audible adaptation of Christie's classic, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, will be dropping globally on November 14. This is part of a fresh production deal between Audible and Agatha Christie Limited. The audio drama will boast Dolby Atmos sound, thanks to award-winning sound designer John Wakefield, and an original score by actor-musician Johnny Flynn, teaming up with cellist-composer Joe Zeitlin.
'The Mysterious Affair at Styles's adaptation team unveiled
The adaptation was penned by Anna Lea, directed by Alice Lowe, and produced by Claire Broughton of Hat Trick Productions. Aurelie de Troyer, head of regional content Europe at Audible, expressed her excitement about the project stating, "Working in close collaboration with Agatha Christie Limited, we are excited to bring this iconic mystery to life with cinematic audio quality and an all-star cast."
