Awards season
Tazewell triumphed over esteemed competition
At this year's Oscars, Tazewell beat Arianne Phillips, Linda Muir, Lisy Christl, and the duo of Janty Yates and David Crossman.
This win comes after his stellar awards season where he won the BAFTA, Critics Choice, and Costume Designers Guild awards.
For Wicked, Tazewell designed over a thousand costumes, including iconic pieces like Glinda's (Ariana Grande) bubble dress and Elphaba's (Cynthia Erivo) black dress. He drew inspiration from the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.
