The makers have decided to celebrate February 17 (Friday) as 'Pathaan Day', and therefore, have slashed the ticket prices. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan marked the return of SRK to the silver screen after a gap of four long years, since his last release, Zero. Pathaan, which was released on January 25, is a little over a week away from completing a month's run in the theaters. The film is inching toward crossing the Rs. 1,000 crore mark at the box office.
Buy 'Pathaan' tickets for Rs. 110
With Friday, February 17 declared as 'Pathaan Day' by the makers, selective cinema hall chains such as Inox, PVR, Cinepolis, and Miraj, among others, have decided to sell the tickets for Rs. 110. The price will be applicable only for this Friday across India. The move has reportedly been taken to reap benefits from the slashed prices and attract the audience to the theaters.
Historic run of 'Pathaan' at the box office
With Pathaan inching closer to raking in Rs. 1,000 crore at the global box office, in India, it has earned close to Rs. 500 crore. Per reports, it collected Rs. 498.85 crore domestically, while its worldwide collections stand at Rs. 963 crore (gross). Of these, Rs. 600 crore are from India and the remaining Rs. 363 crore are from the overseas markets.

Apart from Khan, Pathaan also features actors Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles, along with Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana playing the supporting characters. Backed by Yash Raj Films, Pathaan is a part of Aditya Chopra's Spy Universe. The movie also had a special cameo of Salman Khan as Tiger, teasing his upcoming film, Tiger 3.
