Jaideep Ahlawat, who recently reprised his role as Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary in the second season of Paatal Lok, has dismissed rumors about his increased remuneration.

However, the actor laughed off these claims in a conversation with Hindustan Times.
Ahlawat's reaction
'Where is this money? Where did it go?'
Ahlawat joked, "Arre yaar itna tha toh mujhe bata toh dete. Main kuch kar leta iss paise ka. Hai kahan ye paisa, gaya kahan?" (If it was that much, they should have told me. I would have done something with it. Where did it go?).
In another interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ahlawat acknowledged that his remuneration increased in comparison to Season One, but didn't reveal additional details.
"Absolutely, the fees were much higher. As time passes, your fees increase."
