'Truth will be out': Parvati Nair denies assaulting domestic help
Actor Parvati Nair has refuted allegations of assaulting her domestic help, terming them "baseless." An FIR was recently filed against her and six others in Chennai, following a complaint by her domestic helper, Subhash Chandra Bose. Nair had previously accused Bose of theft. In a social media post on Monday, the actor expressed confidence in the judicial process and pledged to take legal action against those responsible.
Nair's statement: 'Truth will be out soon'
"Some false narratives and baseless allegations are being circulated. I have full faith in the judicial system, and my legal team will take action against everyone responsible. The truth will be out soon," Nair wrote in her statement. She also thanked her fans, friends, and family for their "unwavering support."
Bose alleges Nair slapped him at KGR Studios
According to Bose's complaint, he started working at KGR Studios after being released from jail in the theft case. He alleged that Nair slapped him at the studio and was accompanied by five others who verbally abused him. Bose claimed the police did not take any action on his complaint, following which he approached the Saidanet 19th MM Court.
Nair booked under BNS; case investigation underway
Per reports, after the Saidapet Magistrate passed orders, an FIR was registered against Nair and others. She has reportedly been booked under Sections 296(b), 115(2), and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The case is currently under investigation. Apart from Nair, Ayalaan producer Rajesh and five others have also been accused of confining Bose in a room and harassing him over false theft accusations.

Nair was recently seen in the Tamil film The Greatest of All Time, where she starred alongside Thalapathy Vijay. She has also appeared in movies such as Poppins, Story Kathe, Yennai Arindhaal, Uttama Villain, and Nimir. She also had a role in the Bollywood film 83, which starred Ranveer Singh.
