    What's the story

    The K-pop industry has been taken aback after the shocking death of singer Park Bo-ram. Fans around the globe have been mourning the death of the Beautiful singer.

    Now, her agency Xanadu Entertainment has released an official statement regarding her autopsy results.

    The statement read, "The autopsy showed no signs of homicide or suicide, and the exact results will be delivered to the bereaved family at a later date."

    The statement also mentioned the funeral plans of the deceased artist. It read, "The funeral parlor for the deceased will be set up in Room 21 of the Asan Medical Center Funeral Home from 3:00pm KST today. The funeral procession will be held at 6:00am KST on April 17, and the burial site is at Seoul Memorial Park."

    The agency has requested respect and consideration for the bereaved family during this time.

    Agency urged fans not to speculate rumors

    The agency went on to urge fans not to circulate any rumors. The statement read, "We sincerely pray for the soul of the deceased who unfortunately passed away, and we request that you refrain from circulating rumors and speculative reports."

    Reportedly, the Seoul Police are currently investigating her sudden demise as she had no known health issues.

    Reason

    What was the reason for death?

    Park tragically passed away on April 11 after suffering a cardiac arrest at a friend's residence.

    Despite immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital, she succumbed approximately an hour later.

    Before her untimely death, she had released a new single titled I Miss You on April 3. She was also working toward launching a full-length album, according to her agency's statement.

    Career

    Looking back at Park's successful career

    She first gained fame after her appearance on South Korea's pay TV music program Superstar K2 in 2010.

    Her debut song Beautiful released in 2014 secured the 19th spot on that year's Korean chart.

    She was honored with an Artist of the Year award at the fourth Gaon Chart K-POP Awards and received several other nominations.
