Papon steps down as reality show judge, amid kissing row
After being accused of assaulting an 11-year-old girl who is a contestant on 'The Voice India Kids 2', Papon has quit as the judge of the show. The singer took to social media to make the announcement. A complaint has been filed against the singer in the national capital by a lawyer named Runa Bhuyan.

Soon after Papon announced his exit from the show, the channel also issued a statement saying that the singer will not be shooting for 'The Voice India Kids 2' until the issue is resolved. "We have always been focused on the safety, security and well-being of the contestants," it added.
Papon was leveled with allegations of sexual assault
It was yesterday that Papon found himself in the unwanted controversy after objections were raised on him for kissing a minor girl during a Facebook live session. He denied the sexual assault charges, saying that it was his way of showing affection to the girl he was mentoring on the show.
