"Indian artistes are treated with love and warmth in Pakistan"
'Bheja Fry' fame actor Vinay Pathak has said that Pakistan is the only country that treats all Indian artistes with special care. Recalling the experience of his recent visit to Pakistan, Vinay told a news agency that no other country treats them with as much love and warmth. He had gone there to attend the Pakistan International Film Festival.
Vinay asserted that there's no hatred towards Indians in Pakistan
Expanding his viewpoint, Vinay said, "I think Pakistan is the only country where we are treated with special care because we are Indians. No other country in the world will treat us with so much love and warmth." "The hatred that we see in the mainstream media or social media is nothing to do with common people," he added.
He also shared an anecdote
To prove his point, Vinay narrated a small incident from his visit. "I went to attend a premiere of a Pakistani film and saw a huge poster of Ajay Devgn starrer 'Raid' over there. The organizers were saying that there is a market of Indian films in Pakistan because people love watching our films. They try to release our films almost simultaneously," he said.
Vinay will soon be seen in 'Khajoor Pe Atke'
Vinay's next big-screen outing, 'Khajoor Pe Atke', will hit screens this Friday. The family drama has been directed by Harsh Chhaya and also features Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa. Vinay is pretty excited about the release of the film.
