Janhvi took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of herself and her mother. In the monochromatic picture, a younger Janhvi can be seen hugging her mother Sridevi tightly around the neck. She captioned the post as, "Miss you everyday". In the comments section, various celebrities like filmmakers Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar, actor Sanjay Kapoor, and Union Minister Smriti Irani dropped their messages.

Two years ago, Sridevi died due to accidental drowning
Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, UAE, at the age of 54. She lost her life after accidentally drowning in the bathtub of her hotel room. The news of her sudden demise sent shock waves across the country.
Her career spans over the course of four decades
One of the most iconic actresses of Indian cinema, Sridevi started her career as a child actor at the age of four. Over the course of four decades, Sridevi appeared in countless Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi movies. She made her Bollywood debut with Rani Mera Naam (1972). Her last movie was Mom (2017), for which she posthumously won her first-ever National award.

Meanwhile, Sridevi's daughter with Boney Kapoor, Janhvi (22) entered the Bollywood scene in 2018 with Karan Johar's production Dhadak. She has also featured in Netflix movie Ghost Stories. She will soon be seen in movies like Gunjan Saxena, Roohi Afzana and Dostana 2.
