George Clooney, Brad Pitt may return for 'Ocean's 14': Report
The Warner Bros-produced film franchise that began with Ocean's Eleven is reportedly gearing up for its next installment, Ocean's 14. According to The Dish, Hollywood stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt are set to return for this new chapter. Meanwhile, discussions are reportedly underway with Edward Berger—known for his work on All Quiet on the Western Front and Conclave—to potentially direct the upcoming film.
Berger's directorial prowess and potential involvement
Berger has gained recognition as a top-tier filmmaker, with his film All Quiet on the Western Front bagging four Oscars including Best International Feature. His recent drama Conclave—about the intrigue behind the election of a new pope—has also received critical acclaim following its Telluride debut. Despite juggling multiple offers, reports suggest that Berger's involvement in Ocean's 14 is a strong possibility.
'Ocean's 14' to be first without Steven Soderbergh
Ocean's 14 will reportedly mark a significant shift in the franchise as it will be the first film not directed by Steven Soderbergh. Clooney had earlier revealed that they have a strong script for Ocean's 14 which he described as being in the spirit of Going in Style. The film is currently in its early stages of development. Clooney and Pitt, meanwhile, recently premiered their Apple film Wolfs at the Venice Film Festival.
