#MeToo: Actress Nushrat writes a letter in Luv Ranjan's support
Actress Nushrat Bharucha has created a buzz in the town after she came out in support of director Luv Ranjan. Luv was accused of sexual misconduct by an actress in the wake of Bollywood's ongoing #MeToo campaign. Extending her support to him, Nushrat wrote an open letter defending Luv and said that the director has never made her feel uncomfortable.
"Luv is opposite to the personality that has been painted"
Talking about her work experience with Luv, she said that he is nothing like the personality that has been painted. As per her, he ensures a safe and honest environment for the female staff and has always stood up for girls. In her open letter, she also mentioned the reason for working with him, saying that she feels "safe, protected, respected and cared for"

Furthermore, Nushrat also asserted that since she has been working with Luv for eight years, she knows the director inside out. She stated that he has been the one who gave her the courage to speak up against the wrong.

Last week, an anonymous actress had accused Luv of sexual misconduct during the audition of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama'. The victim alleged that Luv asked her to strip down to panties to see if she needed to lose weight. While the allegations were disturbing, Luv has called them absurd. He even said that he is willing to face a legitimate inquiry.
