Shooting of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 'Fanne Khan' interrupted
Another KriArj Entertainment production, 'Fanne Khan' starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor, has landed in a soup because of non-payment of dues. Latest updates have it that the crew of the film has refused to resume the shooting of the film pertaining to monetary issues. This is the fourth film under the Prernaa Arora's banner to have suffered a similar fate.
Producers have been given an ultimatum
Sharing the woes of the crew, a member said, "The freelancers associated with the project have a contract with KriArj. We were told that the payments would come in by early March, but haven't received a penny." "We've decided not to start work on the next schedule till we get paid. We have given them an ultimatum to clear the dues by April 15."
'Fanne Khan' will hit the screens on July 13
The much-anticipated film brings back Anil and Aishwarya on the big screen after 18 years. They last appeared together in 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.' 'Fanne Khan', an adaptation of the Dutch film 'Everybody's Famous', also features Rajkummar Rao. It is a musical comedy and is being directed by Atul Manjrekar.
