The netizens have been so busy targeting the actress that they failed to notice that Anand Ahuja too has changed his name. Anand's Instagram profile now displays his name as Anand S Ahuja. Apparently, 'S' stands for Sonam here.

The 'Neerja' actor has been facing backlash for adopting her husband's surname. Sonam had updated her name on her social media profiles immediately after the wedding ceremony on May 8. But, Sonam's move did not go down well with many and they called her out for conforming with patriarchy.

Reacting to the fuss, Sonam said, "I have been engaged for a long time. It took me a long time to decide. It's a choice, at the end of the day. And if people don't understand the concept of feminism, they need to go online and look at the description." "And how do you know Anand has not changed his name," she added.
