'No Entry' sequel to start filming in 2025: Anees Bazmee
Filmmaker Anees Bazmee has revealed that the sequel to his hit 2005 comedy film No Entry will start filming in January 2025. The upcoming movie will reportedly feature actors Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh. In a recent interview, Bazmee also shared his experience of working on the original film and how it was received by the audience. Here are more details.
'We want to start in January 2025'
While speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Bazmee said, "We want to start in January 2025 after Bhool Bhulaiya 3 is out in the world." The director also talked about how it was loved by the audience. "It was a very, very special film, not only for me, for everyone, and it was made with such passion. The entire cast stood by me to help. Salman Khan was supposed to be a guest but he shot for 12-15 days."
'No Entry' had a different kind of comedy
Bazmee further said that No Entry had a different kind of comedy. He also recalled the difficulties the team faced while releasing the film in theaters. However, he said, the movie's popularity grew with each passing day. The original movie, which starred Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan in lead roles, was a huge success and is still remembered for its comedy.
Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' to release on Diwali
On the work front, Bazmee is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The movie, which stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, is set to hit theaters on Diwali 2024. It will be clashing with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again at the box office. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also features Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in key roles.
