Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's court case reveals major 'Game of Thrones' spoiler
The final season of 'Game of Thrones' is about to come, and understandably fans are excited about their beloved television show. Notably, the season has been wrapped up in secrecy and there has not been much news or spoilers. However, a recent court case that actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was tied up in, might have given away a major spoiler. Here's a leak peek.
Lannisters always pay their debts, seems Nikolaj does not
Nikolaj, who plays Jaime Lannister on the show, was tied in a legal dispute with his former manager Jill Littman. Having fired her in 2015, the case was about post-termination commissions. Though Jill was paid 10% commission while working with him, Nikolaj denied post-termination commissions saying they had a verbal agreement. However, an arbitrator has determined that Nikolaj owed $2 million to Jill.

Nikolaj might have lost the case, but it proved useful to careful followers of the show. The court documents revealed that the Danish actor was only signed for four episodes in the final season. Does this mean Jaime dies? Bring out the tissues! However, fans must note that four episodes might not be consecutive. He might survive the final season across four scattered episodes.
Will Jaime meet his death in the North?
Jaime's character started off as a cocky unlikeable knight, but The Kingslayer reformed himself into a chivalrous hero. However, Jaime has a long list of enemies and his journey to North will be perilous. More importantly, the show needs to tie loose ends and sidelining a major character's story seems unlikely. Thus, Jaime will likely meet his end. The final season airs in 2019.
