During his recent interview on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon', Nick revealed that he was introduced to PeeCee through a common friend and the two exchanged numbers. Interestingly, the couple didn't meet for six months after that and it was via texts that they got to know each other. In fact, Nick insisted that they attended the Met Gala event together as friends.
After texting for months, love finally found its way
Their Met Gala appearance led to speculations about their affair which the two had dismissed for long. On this, Nick said, "the story wrote itself". He further stated that it was just five months ago when their friendship blossomed into love. "It was kind of immediate, and I think we just knew it was right and jumped right in. And we're happy," Nick shared.

The reports of Nick and Priyanka's secret engagement did the rounds for a while. It was rumored that the couple had exchanged the rings in New York on PeeCee's birthday.
