Microfracture injury to keep NewJeans's Hyein away from comeback activities
Hyein, a popular member of the K-pop group NewJeans, will not participate in the promotional activities for their upcoming double single, How Sweet. The news was announced by ADOR on Wednesday (KST), the agency representing NewJeans. In its official statement, the agency mentioned that Hyein is currently focusing on her health and recovery after suffering a microfracture in her foot during an April rehearsal session.
Hyein's future participation depends on health progress
Despite Hyein's dedication to her recovery, the agency stated that medical professionals have advised limited mobility, leading to her absence from the promotional events for NewJeans's new release. "Depending on Hyein's condition and medical advice, she will flexibly participate in schedules other than music broadcasts/performances," said ADOR. Further, the agency reassured fans of their unwavering support for Hyein and expressed hope for a swift recovery.
