Captain Marvel is about to fly into our theaters on March 8, and get introduced as the most powerful character yet, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check out the posters here.
Stylish new posters show off details of Captain Marvel's costume
Captain Marvel's stylish posters ensure that the details of her costume are placed in the foreground. One of the posters shows Brie Larson, who plays the titular character, poised for action. The other takes a look at her helmet-clad attire, which will definitely help her actualize the character's mantra of 'higher, further, faster'. The posters were officially shared by Marvel Studios' Twitter account.
Fresh look of posters is getting fans hyped for movie
First poster accentuates the coloring details of the suit
The first poster, which shows Marvel with her clenched fists, is notably brighter than her previously released posters. Therefore, we get a better look in the full profile shot, which shows us her outfit in its entirety. What really stood out for us, in this recently revealed poster, is the red and gold that accentuates her entire suit, giving it a striking appearance.
Second poster reveals closer look at helmet and slick mohawk
The second poster shows a close-up view of Captain Marvel sporting a helmet and a slick mohawk. As we had reported, the film will remain loyal to the comics, referring to Jamie McKelvie's design of Carol's retractable helmet. He had given Carol's character a new suit, rooted in her Air-Force days, and a new helmet to help her breathe in space.
Danvers takes up Captain Marvel's mantle, becomes a superhero
With a fresh look at Captain Marvel's outfit, the film is only teasing how she will take a stance in the interracial alien war between the Krees and the Skrulls, as she gains control over her powers and becomes the superhero MCU desperately needs.
