After an elongated wait, Netflix has finally unveiled the trailer of its maiden Indian original 'Sacred Games'.
The series features Saif Ali Khan as Mumbai Police officer named Sartaj Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as gangster Ganesh Gaitonde and Radhika Apte as R&AW analyst Anjali Mathur.
The 55-second long trailer sets the tone for an intriguing crime drama.

'Sacred Games' has been directed by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane
Phantom Films duo of Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane has directed the much-anticipated series.
Thus, expectations are at an all-time high, given their knack for telling real stories.
Plus, Kashyap has an impressive track record with crime thrillers as he has previously helmed films like 'Black Friday', 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Raman Raghav 2.0'.
Context
Netflix has more in store for the Indian audience
Besides 'Sacred Games', Netflix has six more Indian originals under production.
However, only three of them have been officially announced by the streaming giant as of now, namely 'Leila', 'Ghoul' and 'Crocodile'.
'Leila' will narrate the story of Shalini, a free-thinking woman in search of her daughter.
Further, 'Ghoul' is a horror series based on Arabic folklore, whereas 'Crocodile' is a murder mystery.

Meanwhile, 'Sacred Games' will be out on July 6
The first season of 'Sacred Games' comprises of eight episodes which will begin streaming from July 6. The show is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel of the same name.
