Dante returns! Netflix unveils epic 'Devil May Cry' trailer
What's the story
Netflix has released a fiery trailer for its upcoming animated series, Devil May Cry.
The animation is handled by Studio Mir, known for Dota: Dragon's Blood, Harley Quinn, and X-Men '97.
The show is the brainchild of creator Adi Shankar, who had previously worked on the popular Castlevania series and its sequel.

Devil May Cry draws inspiration from a beloved video game franchise by Hideki Kamiya that has sold more than 32 million copies globally.
The series revolves around demon hunter Dante, who sets out on a quest to thwart a myriad of demon invasions on Earth.
Dante himself is a Nephilim, a half-demon, half-angel hybrid born from the marriage of demon Sparda and angel Eva.

The voice cast for the series features Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady, Hoon Lee as The White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo Ferino, Robbie Daymond as Vergil, and Kevin Conroy as VP Baines.
Written by Alex Larsen, the series will have eight episodes.
Devil May Cry will premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025.
