The couple welcomed their little bundle of joy on Thursday, September 20 and they are obviously jubilant. As it turns out, happy father Neil has already given his little princess her first gift. Neil's special gift to his daughter
The proud father's first gift to his princess is a 'pushtaini' cot (an old cot). This cot has been in Neil's family for over 50 years and passed on to generations. "From my aunts to my father and me, the cot has gone through every child in the family," he said. Isn't this the most memorable gift?
Neil hopes to be a good father
The new daddy, who was waiting for this day for long, had mentioned that he wanted a healthy baby, the gender of the child didn't matter. He also spoke about his tuning with kids. He had said, "My sister's kids are fond of me. So, I am pretty good with kids and I hope I make for a good father as well".
The most adorable pregnancy announcement
Earlier in April, Neil had announced wife Rukmini's pregnancy on Instagram with an adorable post that made our hearts melt. He shared a picture of a bird carrying a baby with a message 'to be delivered soon'. Neil also posted a picture of a couple's hands with baby shoes in it. He had captioned the image as, "Now we will be THREE".
