What's the story
The second edition of the Cinevesture International Film Festival will begin on Thursday in the City of Beauty—Chandigarh. The four-day event will host screenings of Indian and International films. A host of sessions will also be conducted, with big Bollywood filmmakers and actors.
Notable attendees include Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Hansal Mehta, Vikramaditya Motwane, Boman Irani, Pratik Gandhi, Randeep Hooda, Nandita Das, Abhishek Chaubey, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Zahan Kapoor, among others.

Festival highlights: Siddiqui, Gandhi, Mehta to lead discussions
Siddiqui will join Siddharth Hussain, GM Creative, Bhanushali Studios, in a conversation.
Gandhi and Mehta, who are reuniting for the highly-anticipated Gandhi series after their successful collaboration on Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story (2020), will talk about the director-actor relationship in a session.
Mehta will also talk about the business of cinema at the festival.

Motwane, Kapoor to talk about 'Black Warrant' show
Motwane and Kapoor are slated to be guest speakers on their popular show, Black Warrant.
Pilgaonkar will be accompanied by actor-producer Shweta Tripathi to discuss the role of young actors in independent spaces, reported Mid-Day.
Irani, who recently debuted as a director with The Mehta Boys, will lead a scriptwriting workshop at the festival.

Chaubey, Trehan to discuss biopic challenges at festival
Malayalam filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan and The Great Indian Kitchen producer Jomon Jacob will share their insight on what the future holds for Malayalam cinema.
Chaubey and director Honey Trehan will be attending a panel discussion where they will talk about the challenges of making a biopic.
Trehan has directed the upcoming Diljit Dosanjh-led Punjab 95, in which Chaubey serves as one of the producers.
