Nawazuddin Siddiqui barred from meeting ailing mother: Report
Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's personal life has taken a massive hit. From serious allegations of sexual harassment by his wife Aalia Siddiqui to his brother Shamas accusing him of abandoning people, Siddiqui's been accused of a lot. Now, fresh reports claim that the actor has been barred from visiting his ailing mother, and was stopped from entering his Versova bungalow.
Why does this story matter?
Siddiqui shifted his base to a hotel in Mumbai after his wife alleged that he and his family were not letting her stay in the Versova house. The actor's brother Shamas also leveled allegations against him saying he frequently abandons people. Earlier, Siddiqui's mother Mehroonisa filed an FIR against Aaliya over a property dispute. Siddiqui has been embroiled in many legal controversies.
Siddiqui's mother, too, didn't want to meet anybody
According to media reports, when Siddiqui learned about his ailing mother, he returned to Mumbai from Dubai. However, when he arrived at his Versova residence, the Haddi actor was stopped from entering the house by his brother Faizuddin, per an India Today report. Apparently, he wasn't allowed to meet his mother. The report further said that Mehroonisa, too, didn't want to meet anyone.
Bombay HC asked Siddiqui-Aalia to resolve issues
Last week, the Bombay High Court asked Siddiqui and his wife to resolve the issue over their children Shora (12) and Yaani (7). The case was being heard by the divisional bench of Justices AS Gadkari and PD Naik. After his estranged wife came back to Mumbai, the couple's children also recently returned to the city from Dubai.
All about their marriage
The couple dated each other for a long time before they got hitched. According to reports, Siddiqui and his wife were in a live-in relationship earlier but their marriage could not be finalized. The actor then got married to his first wife, Sheeba, but soon divorced her. Putting their differences aside, Siddiqui and Aaliya got married in the year 2009.
