#PulwamaAttack: Navjot Singh Sidhu sacked from 'The Kapil Sharma Show'?
What's the story
Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is currently seen on The Kapil Sharma Show, has, reportedly, been sacked from the show.
The decision was made after he sparked a controversy over his contentious comments on the deadly Pulwama attack where he stated, "terrorism has no religion, no nation".
The TKSS makers are miffed with this unwanted controversy and will be replacing Sidhu with immediate effect.
Replacement
Sidhu to be replaced by Archana Puran Singh on 'TKSS'
The media reports further suggested that Sidhu will be replaced by veteran actress Archana Puran Singh as the new judge of TKSS.
"His remarks have not been taken kindly by most. This is when the team amicably decided that Navjot make a distance from TKSS," a source reportedly told Indian Express.

Meanwhile, Archana denies replacing Sidhu
While the news might have left Sidhu's fans disappointed, Archana rubbished the reports of replacing him on TKSS.
She clarified that she wasn't replacing Sidhu permanently on TKSS.
However, Archana did emphasize that if approached, she would definitely give it a thought.
Interestingly, this will be Kapil's second collaboration with Archana after their popular show Comedy Circus on Sony.

Backstory: Sidhu took a soft stand while condemning attack
To recall, speaking to reporters after the Punjab assembly was adjourned yesterday to show solidarity towards the CRPF, Sidhu said, "It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished."
However, he asked, "For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual?"
Outrage
Netizens fumed over Sidhu's comments, wanted to boycott Kapil's show
Understandably, Sidhu's comments sparked outrage on social media and people urged Sony channel to act against him.
Notably, Sidhu appears as a permanent guest on the hit comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show.
Soon after his comments, Kapil Sharma started trending on Twitter with netizens opining they would stop watching the show if Sidhu continues to be a part of it.
Looking back
Earlier, Sidhu stoked controversy by 'hugging' Pakistan Army chief
Sidhu is known for his controversial comments.
Last year, on his trip to Pakistan to congratulate Imran Khan for becoming the PM, Sidhu had hugged Pakistan Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
His action had garnered ire not just from BJP but also from Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
Sidhu had also heaped praises on Khan.
About time, you zip it, Mr. Sidhu!
