'Please save Tony Stark,' plead fans; NASA responds cheekily
The first trailer of Marvel Studios' much-awaited movie Avengers: Endgame dropped last week. However, the trailer has left fans in a distressing state after it was shown that Tony Stark aka Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is counting his final days in space. Fans then pleaded to NASA on Twitter to help the Iron Man. And, NASA has given a cheeky response.
Stark running out of oxygen, other heroes seeing darkness too
The trailer started with Stark recording an emotional message for Pepper Potts, saying he'll run out of oxygen soon as he has been left adrift in space after the haunting-events of Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer showed other heroes who're also seeing darkness as Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johnson) says that the mad titan Thanos has wiped off half of the universe.
Stark's condition broke Marvel fans, they ask NASA for help
The depressing trailer has left fans broken and they couldn't help expressing their anguish on Twitter. A subset of Marvel fan also took an amusing step of contacting NASA on social media to help Stark. One netizen wrote, "dear @NASA, PLEASE please find Tony Stark that poor guy is floating somewhere up in space and is running out of oxygen. WE NEED YOUR HELP."
Relief to fans: NASA actually gives a response
Fans relieved, praises NASA's response
The US space organization may have not given a very helpful response, rather it was a funny one, but it was music to the ears of Marvel fans. The post received thousands of likes and retweets. They lauded the response as one wrote, "When you're doing your job right." Also, it was quite amazing to see the impact Avengers has on popular culture.
The trailer has raised the level of curiosity
Now, as the trailer of Avengers 4 has finally given a glimpse of the upcoming events, fans are not able to keep calm. Many fear the impending death of Iron Man. However, towards the trailer's end, we also see that the other heroes might have found a solution and it's only making us more curious. The movie releases on April 26, 2019.
