Film details
'The Paradise' explores themes of societal prejudice and oppression
Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise dives deep into themes of societal prejudice and oppression.
The movie narrates the tale of a marginalized tribe, robbed of its rights, who find hope in an unlikely leader.
Nani's character is described as "a bastard" who leads the tribe's battle for citizenship and recognition in a system that wants to keep them suppressed.
Its core message is,"You don't need an identity to be a leader."

"If 1,000 of my efforts can make one person from the other side of the world watch my film, I am willing to put in those efforts because my The Paradise deserves a global audience," added director Odela.
