Bollywood's #MeToo movement is gaining momentum these days and the harassers are finally facing some brunt. Recently, Sajid Khan and Nana Patekar chose to leave 'Housefull 4' after being accused of sexual misconduct. Soon, the producers replaced Sajid with Farhad Samji as the new director. As per the recent buzz, names of Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt are being speculated for replacing Nana in 'Housefull 4'. Interestingly, there have been reports that Dutt was approached for the role even before Nana was roped in. However, things didn't work out as Dutt had reportedly hiked his fees post Sanju's success. Backstory: Nana announced his exit from 'Housefull 4' last week
Recently, Nana Patekar announced his exit from Akshay Kumar starrer 'Housefull 4'. His decision came after Sajid was also accused of sexual misconduct and he chose to step down from the directorial post. Talking about Nana's exit, his son Malhar said that the veteran actor took the decision for the convenience of the 'Housefull 4' team as it was the appropriate thing to do.
Meanwhile, 'Housefull 4' team resumes shooting
As the controversies surrounding Sajid and Nana intensify, the 'Housefull 4' team has come out in support of the #MeToo movement. Further, they have also reportedly resumed shooting for the movie without Sajid and Nana.
