Rocker Dave Grohl announces birth of daughter outside marriage
Dave Grohl, the frontman of the rock band Foo Fighters, has revealed that he recently became a father to a daughter born outside his marriage. The musician shared this news in a statement on social media on Tuesday. Grohl is married to Jordyn Blum since 2003 and they have three daughters together. In his statement, he also expressed his commitment to regaining his family's trust.

In his social media post, Grohl stated, "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her." He also expressed his love for his wife and children, adding that he is striving to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. This announcement comes after Grohl's previous admission of infidelity leading to the end of his first marriage with Jennifer Leigh Youngblood.
Grohl's eldest daughter has deactivated Instagram
Grohl and Blum are parents to Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. The musician memorably gave a shoutout to his eldest daughter at the Glastonbury Festival in June and Violet joined her father on stage later, calling him his "favorite singer in the world." The two even sang together. However, after Grohl's shocking announcement, Violet's Instagram account appeared to have been deactivated, although the exact timing is not known.
Grohl's recent activities with Foo Fighters
Last summer, Foo Fighters released their first album following the demise of their drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022. The band has been actively performing through their Everything or Nothing at All tour. Earlier this summer, Grohl found himself in a playful feud with pop star Taylor Swift when they both had shows in London on the same night.
Grohl's humorous banter with Taylor Swift
During his London concert, Grohl humorously addressed the scheduling clash with Swift's Eras Tour. He said, "I'm telling you, man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift." He then cheekily referred to his own tour as the "Errors Tour," adding that they've had more than a few eras and errors because they "actually play live."
