After 'Munnabhai', Vishal was seen in 'Tango Charlie'
After Vishal got his share of fame with Munnabhai M.B.B.S, he was seen in movies like Tango Charlie with Ajay Devgn and Tum: A Dangerous Obsession. He also worked with renowned actress Tabu in her movie Chandni Bar. Besides, Vishal was also seen in renowned shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah, Veer Shivaji, and Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil.
Vishal won heart with his chocolate boy looks
Vishal won hearts with his boy next door looks. His cute looks became his USP which helped Vishal enjoy a huge female fan following. In fact, Vishal's chocolate boy looks made him perfect for roles of a rogue person who has a change of heart in the plot. It would have been a delight to watch him in villainous roles on screen.
However, rape charges changed Vishal's image
Vishal did have a chance to make it big in Bollywood but in vain. His Bollywood career crashed after he was accused of rape by his ex-girlfriend. The actor's girlfriend had lodged a complaint against him at Mumbai's Charkop police station in October 2015. Although the couple resolved their differences later, the incident left Vishal depressed as the charges tarnished his image.

Reportedly, Vishal suffered from depression after the incident as it took a toll on his Bollywood career. The actor was upset about not getting work in the industry. Once his mother stated that Vishal couldn't bear the insult his family faced.
