The acclaimed horror-comedy film Munjya, featuring Sharvari and Abhay Verma, is now available on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie was initially released in theaters on June 7. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, it has garnered positive reviews from both fans and critics alike and is a part of Vijan's horror-comedy universe that also includes Stree, Stree 2, and Bhediya. Aditya Sarpotdar helmed it.
Story
Overview of the story
The film opens at a time when child marriages didn't raise any eyebrows, and we meet an adolescent boy burning in the fire of vengeance as Munni, the girl he loves, is married to another. Soon, he dies, and his soul—because of this unfulfilled desire—gets stuck in this world. Decades later, he meets his descendant, Bittu (Verma), and tasks him with finding Munni. Mona Singh played Verma's mother in the movie.

On the professional front, Sharvari is set to appear in YRF's Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol and is a part of the YRF Spy Universe. Verma, on the other hand, has reportedly been signed for Shah Rukh Khan-Suhana Khan-Abhishek Bachchan's King. It is helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and will mark Suhana's theatrical debut.
