Standup comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner, Munawar Faruqui, has reportedly married for the second time. A source close to Faruqui confirmed the news to Times Now, stating, "Yes, Munawar is now married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two." The hush-hush wedding was described as an intimate affair with only close friends and family present.
Reception held at ITC Grand Maratha on Sunday
The couple reportedly got married 10-12 days ago and celebrated their union with a reception at the ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai, on Sunday. The source added, "Only the couple's near and dear were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close-knit function." Though nothing is confirmed so far, social media chatter suggests that the bride is Mehzabeen Coatwala, who is likely a makeup artist.
Hina Khan may have attended Faruqui's wedding
Among the attendees was reportedly Faruqui's close friend, Hina Khan. On Sunday night, she shared a picture on her Instagram Story with the song "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai" playing in the background. Khan and Faruqui have previously worked together on a music video. Faruqui has not yet reacted to the report. On Bigg Boss 17, he revealed that he separated from his wife and has custody of their young son.
