Comparison
Is 'Deva' a frame-by-frame remake?
While the core concept of Deva and Mumbai Police remains the same, Deva's storyline has a completely different climax and introduces more characters which were absent in the original.
Some dialogues remain the same in both movies, though the sequence of scenes and motivations behind the central character's actions are starkly different.
Deva also stars Pooja Hegde and Pravessh Rana in supporting roles and will arrive on Netflix after its theatrical run.
