Mumbai Police beef up Salman Khan's security: Here's why
In the aftermath of the arrested gangster Sampat Nehra's plans to kill Salman Khan, Mumbai Police have beefed up the security of the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor. As per a media report, the police cover around Salman's Bandra residence has been enhanced. Also, the force is currently analyzing the threat perception and will soon take a call on providing personal bodyguards to the superstar.
Nehra was nabbed in Hyderabad a couple of days ago
Salman, his family and fans, were in for a rude shock when Haryana Police revealed Nehra's plans. A sharpshooter with Lawrence Bishnoi gang of Rajasthan, Nehra was nabbed by the Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police. Being supervised by Bishnoi through phone, he was monitoring Salman's movements for many weeks.
Lawrence Bishnoi has its eye on Salman since blackbuck case
One of the most notorious gangs in Rajasthan, Lawrence Bishnoi had previously threatened to kill Salman over the 1998 blackbuck case for which he used to appear in the court in Jodhpur. They had planned to attack him in January as well.
Meanwhile, Salman is busy promoting 'Race 3'
Salman is currently gearing up for the release of highly-anticipated 'Race 3'. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the action-thriller will be out this Friday. Post this, Salman will resume the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat' which also features Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani and Tabu. Besides, he is also doing 'Dabangg 3, 'Sher Khan' and an untitled film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
