Mumbai Dabbawala Association seeks tax-free status for 'Chhaava'
What's the story
The Mumbai Dabbawala Association has requested Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to declare Vicky Kaushal's latest film, Chhaava, tax-free.
The association's president, Subhash Talekar, said their ancestors were warriors in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's army and both he and his father Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj are revered figures for them.
The association feels making the film tax-free will allow more people to learn about the Maratha king's life and sacrifices.
