You've no future, director Anubhav Sinha's tells trolls
The trailer of 'Mulk' confirmed the movie treads a slippery path- the way minorities are treated in the country, and the ever-increasing culture to question everyone's patriotism. So, after the trailer released, director Anubhav Sinha was targeted by trolls on social media (no surprises there!). But Sinha didn't keep quiet, instead, he penned a strong worded open letter for trolls. Here's what he wrote.
What's in the long letter: A lesson for trolls
Anubhav Sinha's letter is a fine piece of writing that is sarcastic and targets the trolls at the same time. Taking a dig at the joblessness of trolls, Sinha wrote, "You do this day in and day out. This, my friend, has never been a career in any part of the world." "You don't have a FUTURE, you will be DUMPED," he wrote.
"No, Mulk is not funded by Dawood Ibrahim, ask him"
Putting to bed all doubts about 'funds' for the movie, Anubhav Sinha wrote, "Mulk'... No it is not funded by Dawood Ibrahim. You can ask him. Not even Congress. You can ask Rahul (Gandhi). Not even the RSS. You can check with Mohan Bhagwatji." Sinha then wrote that Twitter promotion of the movie was a part of a bigger marketing campaign.

After letter, Sinha was clearly not done with trolls
Even after posting the letter, Sinha didn't let the trolls go easily. He kept answering their questions, in Hindi and fought their bigotry with sensible answers. Sinha's Twitter timeline tells he is certainly not backing down. Slated for a release on July 27, 'Mulk' chronicles the story of a Muslim man, played by Rishi Kapoor, who is dragged to court on false charges.
