MTV VMAs 2024: Taylor Swift, Post Malone win big!
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards were held on Thursday (IST), with Taylor Swift and Post Malone emerging as the biggest winners. The duo won the Video of the Year award for Fortnight, and Swift has reportedly become the first artist to sweep this category five times! She also bagged the Artist of the Year award. The event was hosted by rapper Megan Thee Stallion and took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem also among the winners
Swift and Malone beat Ariana Grande's We can't be friends (wait for your love), Billie Eilish's Lunch, Doja Cat's Paint the Town Red, Eminem's Houdini, and SZA's Snooze. The duo also won the award for Best Collaboration. Sabrina Carpenter won the Song of the Year for Espresso, Chappell Roan was named the Best New Artist, while Eminem's Houdini won the award for Best Hip-Hop. SEVENTEEN was named the Best Group and Best Editing went to Fortnight.
