What's the story
This week is going to be a cinematic treat for movie buffs, as a bunch of highly anticipated films release on the silver screen.
Among them are Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, L2: Empuraan, and Sikandar, all set to create a storm at the box office.
Other releases include Nithiin's Robinhood, Cate Blanchett's Black Bag, and the interesting 28 Degree Celsius.

'Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2'
The much-awaited Vikram starrer, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, releases on Thursday. The film features S.J. Suryah and Suraj Venjaramoodu in pivotal roles.
The storyline revolves around Kaali, a provision store owner, who is a loving husband and father. His involvement in a dangerous crime network and his mysterious mission form the crux of the story.

'L2: Empuraan' and 'Robinhood'
Another much-awaited release, L2: Empuraan, will be released on Thursday. Starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film traces the life of Stephen Nedumpally, a man living a double life as Khureshi Ab'raam. It's the second chapter in a planned trilogy, and a sequel to the 2019 film Lucifer.
Meanwhile, Nithiin and Sreeleela's Robinhood will be released on Friday after being delayed from its December 2024 release.

'Tenu Ghodi Kinney Chadaya,' '28 Degree Celsius'
Punjabi-language comedy-drama Tenu Ghodi Kinney Chadaya, starring Harby Sangha and Raj Dhaliwal, will be released on Friday.
28 Degree Celsius will also be released on the same day. The Telugu romantic thriller film's plot revolves around Anjali, who suffers from a brain injury, making her vulnerable to extreme temperatures. She has to stay at a constant 28°C to survive, while Karthik fights to protect her.

'Black Bag,' 'EMI'
On Friday, viewers can also look forward to Black Bag, a gripping tale where intelligence agent Kathryn Woodhouse (played by Blanchett) is suspected of betraying her nation. The Steven Soderbergh film also stars Michael Fassbender and Marisa Abela.
In contrast, EMI, starring Black Pondi, Sadasivam Chinnaraj, and Sai Dhanyaa, will explore the pitfalls of taking loans. Chinnaraj directs this Tamil film.

Finally, 'Sikandar'
The week will end with the release of Sikandar on Sunday.
Starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the film features a fiery man taking on a powerful network of corruption and fighting for the common people's rights in an unjust nation.
