'Not proud of my behavior': Morgan Wallen regrets chair-throwing incident
Country singer-songwriter Morgan Wallen has issued a public apology following his arrest for throwing a chair from the rooftop of a Nashville bar. The incident occurred on April 8 at Chief's, an establishment owned by fellow musician Eric Church. The thrown chair reportedly landed perilously close to two Metro Nashville police officers, leading to Wallen's arrest. "I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility," Wallen stated on X/Twitter on Saturday.
'I accept responsibility'
In his apology, the musician stated, "I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks." "I've touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief's. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility." Further, he added in a thread on X, "I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe."
