The Super Bowl trailer for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is out and it gives a sneak peek into Tom Cruise's insane airplane stunt.
In the 30-second teaser, Cruise is seen hanging upside-down from a biplane as his character Ethan Hunt. This was earlier shared online by Cruise during the production stage.
The clip also teases this being the last Mission: Impossible film with Cruise's line, "I need you to trust me one last time."

The film's logline intriguingly states, "Our lives are the sum of our choices."
Cruise not only stars in the film but also serves as a producer along with director Christopher McQuarrie. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Chris Brock are the executive producers.
The screenplay is written by McQuarrie and Erik Jendresen.
The ensemble cast features Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Vanessa Kirby among others.

Franchise future
'Mission: Impossible 8' might mark end of franchise
The film's title and Cruise's dialogue in the trailer hint that Mission: Impossible might end with this eighth installment. But there's no official word on that yet.
Cruise told Empire, "You gotta see the movie... It's a hard thing for me to discuss at the moment because it really is something that you have to experience."
He also called it an "epic, emotional journey of the entire franchise," comparing it to a "Homeric" tale.
Director's insight
Director McQuarrie hinted at a satisfying conclusion
Director McQuarrie also hinted at a satisfying conclusion to the 30-year story arc.
"I hope [it is] the satisfying conclusion to a 30-year story arc," he said, adding that he is confident audiences will find the title appropriate.
Further, teasing about the film's action sequences, he said, "There are stunts in this movie that will melt your brain...where Tom would go out and do something that topped anything he had ever done before."

Cruise's challenging stunt and release details
Cruise told Empire magazine the high-altitude stunt was especially difficult because of the lack of oxygen.
He had to train himself how to breathe at such speeds and altitudes, sometimes passing out and struggling to get back to the cockpit.
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning releases on May 23, 2025.
It will be released in Dolby Cinema, 4DX, ScreenX, premium large formats, and IMAX.
