Mia Goth, known for her performances in Pearl and High Life, has joined the ensemble cast of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, per The Hollywood Reporter.
The upcoming Universal Pictures production is an adaptation of Homer's Greek epic poem.
The film boasts a stellar cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron, among others.

'The Odyssey' plot and Goth's potential role
The Odyssey tells the story of Greek hero King Odysseus and his arduous 10-year journey back to Ithaca after the Trojan War.
The story is filled with divine interventions, mythical creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, and alluring Sirens.
Although Nolan hasn't revealed much about Goth's character, there is speculation that she could be playing a siren or maybe even a deity or statue.

'The Odyssey' filming and release details
Variety confirmed that The Odyssey will be shot with new IMAX film technology and partially filmed in Sicily, particularly on the Island of Favignana.
Notably, this is where Homer imagined Odysseus would land with his crew.
The film is being produced under Nolan's Syncopy banner with his wife, Emma Thomas.
The Odyssey is set to release on July 17, 2026.
