#MeToo: Luv Ranjan accused of sexual harassment; he denies allegations
What's the story
The cascade of allegations in the #MeToo firestorm seems to be never ending in Bollywood.
After gut-wrenching allegations against Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, director Luv Ranjan has now been accused of sexual misconduct by an anonymous actress.
Although Luv has denied the allegations, the victim alleged that the director had asked her to strip down to panties during the audition of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama'.
Victim's Statement
Luv asked me lewd questions during workshop
Recalling the horrifying incident, the victim said that Luv made her quite uncomfortable in the audition by asking her to strip down to panties.
"He said he wanted to see my body so he could check if I needed to lose weight," she added.
And, that's not all. Luv even asked her lewd questions about virginity, condoms and masturbation during the workshop.
Misunderstanding
Luv tried gaslighting her
When the actress chose to walk out of the movie, she revealed how Luv kept calling her, saying she misunderstood everything.
She even alleged that PKP producer Abhishek Pathak called her unprofessional for leaving the movie.
Ironically, she was told, "If you do such things, you'll not get movies. You're being unprofessional. You'll be stuck doing small roles."

Meanwhile, Luv calls the allegations absurd
The allegations against Luv are severe in every sense. However, the director has rubbished the claims.
He called the allegations absurd and said that he is willing to face any legitimate inquiry regarding it.
"It's so absurd that I don't know what to say except that I deny it. I don't know how to react to an anonymous allegation beyond this," Luv added.
