Mawra Hocane returning for 'Sanam Teri Kasam 2'? Actor reveals
What's the story
Mawra Hocane, the lead actor in the Bollywood romance drama Sanam Teri Kasam, has said she would love to reprise her role in the sequel.
In a recent interview with Connect Cine, she said, "If it's possible for me to be a part of it, I'd love to."
The film, also starring Harshvardhan Rane, was released in 2016 and is now enjoying a successful commercial run upon its re-release.

Hocane praised producers and expressed hope for sequel's success
Hocane added that "there's no hard feelings" even if she doesn't reprise her role in the much-awaited sequel.
She also used the opportunity to praise her producers, saying they truly deserve all the love and recognition, specifically producer Deepak Mukut.
The actor wished him the best and hoped Sanam Teri Kasam 2 would be even more successful, even if she isn't a part of it.

'Sanam Teri Kasam 2' script and songs nearly complete
Filmmakers Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru revealed that Sanam Teri Kasam was originally planned as a two-part story.
They revealed that the script for the sequel has been locked and the film will likely release on Valentine's Day 2026.
However, producer Mukut recently revealed to Bollywood Hungama, "The IP belongs to me."
"So, the rights to make a sequel or even a prequel or a remake rests with me. As for the directors, I haven't had any discussion with them."
