Photos reveal Perry's bedroom was a 'disaster' after his death
Matthew Perry, the beloved actor best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S, was found dead at his Pacific Palisades home on October 28, 2023. He was 54. The cause of death was an overdose of ketamine. Per the New York Post, crime scene photos from the investigation reveal a disturbing picture of Perry's master bedroom suite, described as a "disaster" by a source who has seen the images.
'Like someone was in the middle of a long bender...'
"The master suite looked like someone was in the middle of a long bender. Clothes everywhere, towels on the floor, just dirty," the source told the portal. However, they noted that the rest of Perry's house was "clean, really neat," suggesting that perhaps a cleaning person wasn't allowed access to certain areas. This revelation paints a grim picture of Perry's final days and raises questions about his living conditions.
Five people arrested in connection with Perry's death
Last week, authorities arrested five individuals, including his long-time assistant Kenneth Iwamasa. Iwamasa is accused of administering at least 27 shots of ketamine to Perry in the last five days of his life. The other four individuals charged are alleged "ketamine queen" Jasveen Sangha, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, Dr. Mark Chavez, and drug broker Erik Fleming. Iwamasa pleaded guilty on August 7 to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death. Fleming also pleaded guilty.
Perry's assistant found him unconscious multiple times before death
The investigation revealed that Perry's assistant found the beloved actor unconscious multiple times in the weeks preceding his death. On the day of the incident, Iwamasa administered two ketamine shots to Perry—one at 8:30am and another at 12:45pm. 40 minutes after the second dose, Perry asked Iwamasa for a stronger shot and requested his jacuzzi to be prepared. Iwamasa left to run errands, only to return to a horrifying scene: the actor lying face down in the jacuzzi, unresponsive.
